Oprah's Yoga Challenge
The Yoga Challenge as seen in Oprah's O magazine, January 2010 edition
Oprah’s Magazine told the story of a woman who took a 60 day yoga challenge to try and improve herself and her life. For the challenge, she practiced yoga every day for 60 days. This woman started her challenge overweight and mentally strained. Pick up January’s edition of the O’ Magazine to read the results of her incredible journey.
While seven days a week may not fit in your life, why not try 5, or even 3? Mix it up a little by incorporating the different classes into your schedule. Like all things worthwhile, the more you put into yoga, the more yoga will benefit you. If you find this inspiring, Hot Yoga & Massage Studio is available to help you with your own yoga challenge. We have helped many students recover from cancer, surgeries, injuries, loss of loved ones, depression, and generally improve their overall health.
The New Year is here, resolve to make the most of every opportunity to get in shape and feel great. So why not make the most of your practice by trying a 75 or 90 minute yoga class? I know you are probably saying, "but I can’t." Yes you can!
Pace yourself and approach your practice with a positive attitude. During the duration of a class, you go through two sets of every posture. This allows you to sense where you can try harder, and make those efforts immediately. During the span of a single class, you can go deeper and see yourself improve. Hot Yoga will challenge you both physically and mentally.
In short, if you have resolved to get into better shape, the 60, 75 or 90 minute class will benefit you. Challenge yourself to be the change you are seeking.
