Melissa specializes in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Reflexology and Prenatal Massage, and Cranial Sacral therapy.

Melissa is a graduate of the Everest Institute for Career Education and is Certified through the Virginia Board of Nursing. She is quite experienced in Prenatal Massage. Melissa enjoys the reward and satisfaction of her line of work, providing natural touch therapy to relieve pain or strain, without medicines.

When not enjoying her occupation, Melissa enjoys her other passions, which include her husband and 2 dogs.

Pat's career started as a massage therapist in 1994 at the Riverside Wellness's Fit Stop. Pat and her husband along with their four children moved to New Mexico for two years with the military in 2004. Upon her husband's retirement from the Air Force, Pat and her family returned to Newport News in 2006, a place she comfortably calls home.

Pat has been participating in the yoga practices at the studio and happened upon a conversation noting that another massage therapist was needed to fill the needs of our clients. Pat's true calling is healing massage to enhance people's health and reduce stress. Her level of expertise is Swedish which is a relaxing and stress relieving massage to promote tension relief and relaxation. (Pat knew from childhood she was destined to be in the massage industry rubbing her mother's feet while she napped enjoying the reflexology before it was so popular!). We are thrilled Pat has joined our team and hope you'll be as pleased as we are to have her!

Megan

Megan, Massage Therapist

Megan has been sharing her practice to others since 2008. She began her studies in Nashville at Natural Health Institute. There, she was intrigued in the studies of eastern practices. Now, having studied modalities of massage she brings a nice touch of an integrative method of healing.

Her practice includes modalities such as Reiki, Thai Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish, and Deep Tissue using a background of kinesiology to benefit her clients. When we asked her to come on board she couldn’t be more thrilled. She believes that with yoga and massage there couldn’t be a better method of healing the body. Many of us have postural dysfunctions that are created naturally by something as common as gravity. With her belief of healing she feels this all can be counteracted to keep us living a healthy lifestyle.

On her own time she enjoys practicing yoga herself. She loves spending time by the water and traveling.
